January TBR

In December, something that never happens happened.
I read nothing.

This probably happened because of my current state of mind...but luckily I am feeling better, and can finally venture into books once again.

I want to start by saying, I plan on reading 100 books this year. A goal I set for myself last year, but in recent months couldn't catch up due to again my state of mind.

I plan on changing my blog name to Literature and Tea, which is also my instagrams name. I want to do this as it is a better representation of who I am...and I also just wanted change. My twitter and email address will remain the same to stop more confusion, so it will just be my blog name.

Now onto the books!

Since my goal is 100 books, I will attempt to read 8 - 10 every month.

1# A Court of Thornes and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
This is a book that I have wanted to start for a while now, but didn't because I am not a fan of fantasy or series in general...but I hear that it is awesome so I guess i'll try it.

2# Landline by Rainbow Rowell
I have already read this book, and it was my favourite book of hers until Carry On stole my heart! I am re-reading this simply because I miss reading this book and really want to read it again...I already know it's a 5 star read, so I know that this reading month will at least have one amazing book.

3# Wonder by R.J. Palacio
I have also heard a lot of good things about this book, so I am excited to dive into this read!

4# Night School by C.J Daugherty
I have also heard amazing things about this book, so this is why I am reading it. I originally planned on reading this in October, as she was due to show up at YA Shot, but sadly lost all motivation to read due to school taking over.

5# Apple and Rain by Sarah Crossan
I have no idea what this book is about...I haven't even yet looked at the blurb, so this will be a blind read.

6# Korean Made Simple by Billy Go
(A bit of non fiction is always nice) I will be explaining in a different post as to why I am reading this, this month...so I am really excited.

7# Fans of the Impossible Life by Kate Scelsa
This is a book that I randomly picked up one day whilst out with a friend of mine, and I think I had heard that there was some hype around it so that at least reassures me that it is a good read.

8# I Heart New York by Lindsey Kelk
So I have literally just ordered this book, because around 4 years ago I read one of the books in this series and instantly fell in love...only to realise that not only was it a series...but I had read the 4th book in this series. Luckily, I waited a while before purchasing another book in the series...hoping to have forgotten all of the spoilers - which I did. I read this next book, loved it....but it was the 5th in the series that I had bought not the 1st. So third time lucky, I have tipple checked...and I am almost certain that this is the first book in this series.

Those are my January books! I really hope I get all of these read on time. #fighting!
