Rating System

I think there are many ways to perceive a rating and with me I am not sure if the way I see things is conventional or unique, but here is how I rate ma books :)

Only 1 star - yikes! I hate this book...
We are enemies, I can't believe I even read such a book like you!

1.5 stars - hmm..eughh! I kinda hate you (a lot), but that doesn't mean to say that you have a completely bad plot...or that the writing was consistently terrible...

2 stars - just eh! nothing that special to deserve a higher rating...but not too bad to deserve a 1.

2.5 stars - getting there...but I don't think I quite like you, maybe I will reread you maybe I wont...

3 stars - good-ish read! Just wasn't always gripping or had a lasting effect on my feels. Or maybe the writing was high quality but the plot was not...

3.5 stars - very interesting but not interesting enough to reach 4 stars!

4 stars - Loved it, wasn't perfect but that's okay because it's a brilliant story!

4.5 stars - near perfection but not perfect enough but still an amazing story that I strongly recommend!

5 stars - you have emotionally fulfilled me in every way possible *cries* thank you for the art you have brought to this world.

So yeah, that's that! I sometimes give a book a '3.7' for example if it's higher than the .5 standard but lower than the next rating.
